Booking & cancellation policy
How booking works
Every stay is a request to book. When you submit a request, your card is securely authorized for the total — that's a hold, not a charge. We review and confirm, usually within a few hours. Your card is only charged when we confirm your stay. If we're unable to confirm, or you cancel while your request is still pending, the hold is released and you are never charged.
Cancellation & refunds
Cancel free anytime while your request is pending — nothing has been charged. Once a booking is confirmed, our cancellation terms are:
- Full refund if you cancel 14 or more days before check-in.
- 50% refund if you cancel 7 to 13 days before check-in.
- Non-refundable within 7 days of check-in.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor and typically appear within 5–10 business days. To cancel or change a stay, contact us with your booking reference (it looks like SEB-XXXXXX).
Payments & security
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Booking direct means you pay no third-party platform or service fees — just the nightly rate, cleaning, and applicable taxes shown on your quote before you confirm.
